Eye rejuvenation
The look is a very vast field in itself where aesthetic medicine comes upstream or as an essential complement to surgery.
The look ages through several phenomena:
- The forehead which relaxes, leading to the fall of the eyebrows which in turn weigh down the upper eyelids
- The upper eyelids which lose their fatty pad causing a hard digging
- The lower eyelids which relax, revealing fatty pockets under the eyes
- The melting of the fatty cushion covering the bone of the orbit under the eye and the descent of the cheekbone which create hollow circles
- The skin which loses its suppleness and its elasticity forming wrinkles around the eyes.
Before the 2000s, the rejuvenation of the gaze was based exclusively on blepharoplasty (cosmetic surgery of the eyelids) and the 'lift' of the forehead or the temples. These interventions gave excellent results, provided they were well dosed.
Today, eye management begins well before the surgery stage with less aggressive procedures, which affect the eyebrows, eyelashes, eyelids, and wrinkles around the eyes. The treatments must be precise, safe, give effective and natural results, and have no impact on vision.
Eyebrows: Eyebrows should never be neglected as they structure your look. The treatments offered at the Main d'Or clinic are: eyebrow enhancement with neuromodulators (Botox) and redefining them with permanent makeup (Micropigmentation).
Eyelashes: To intensify the look we offer the eyelash densification treatment.
Crow's feet: These are the oblique wrinkles at the corners of the eyes, due to the contraction of the orbicularis muscle of the eyelids. The treatment of crow's feet wrinkles and wrinkles under the eyes is based on neuromodulators (Botox).
Dark circles: are the worst enemy of a luminous and youthful look. They give the face a tired appearance:
For hollow circles: isolated or associated with the sagging of the cheekbones, the treatment is done by filling with hyaluronic acid.

Aging and the formation of wrinkles on the lips are influenced by at least four negative factors: cumulative sun exposure, genetics, tobacco and natural aging. These factors combined result in: flattening of the lips especially the upper one with loss of the cupid's bow, formation of vertical lines and wrinkles around the mouth allowing lipstick to spill out and falling oral commissures (corners of the mouth). Thanks to modern medical science, aged lips can be rejuvenated and thin lips can be restored to fullness.
Lips lacking definition:
At the Main d'Or clinic, the contour of the lips, the Cupid's bow and the philtral columns are improved with hyaluronic acid specially designed for the lips, which will be injected superficially under the skin to precisely redraw the contours of the lips.
Lips lacking volume:
To plump up the lips, hyaluronic acid injections are the treatment of choice. They allow a natural, fast and effective increase in the volume of your lips temporarily for 6 to 12 months.
Semi-permanent lip makeup:
This technique makes it possible to slightly increase the volume of the lips, to redraw their contour, to correct an easiness if necessary but also to enhance the color of the mouth. The final result gives a makeup effect while you are not wearing any makeup.
The labial commissures and bitterness folds:
The downward-pointing corners of the mouth give a sad look to the face. To remedy this, we use hyaluronic acid at our clinic to fill in a natural and temporary way (for 9 to 12 months) the folds of bitterness and to enhance the corners of the mouth. In certain cases and according to the professional's assessment, injections of neuromodulators (Botox) can be performed in the muscles lowering the corners of the mouth (muscles depressor anguli oris) in order to raise sagging labial commissures. The duration of action of these injections is 4 to 6 months.
Vertical wrinkles around the lips:
Hyaluronic acid specially designed for very superficial injections under the skin of the white upper lip in order to restore a smoother appearance. Other treatments that treat wrinkled skin are used at our clinic to stimulate the production of collagen and the production of new skin in the upper lip.
The Gingival smile or the Gummy smile:

This technique of aesthetic medicine concerns both men and women, as long as their facial oval is little or not drawn. However, the difference in the shape of the face must be taken into consideration:
- In young women, the face usually has the shape of an inverted triangle. The chin then corresponds to the point of the triangle and the top of the cheeks to the vertices. Over time, the contours of the face become blurred and the triangle eventually inverts, the chin becomes the base of the triangle.
- In men, the face has a square shape, the cheekbones less prominent and the chin wide without being thick.

In case of loss of volume, injections of hyaluronic acid will be made to tension the middle third of the face.
