DURING: This treatment, often referred to as pricey face-lift thread, lasts less than an hour and causes minimal discomfort. You can achieve a face-lift effect without the need for invasive surgery, with a rapid recovery.
AFTER:
- Apply cold compresses immediately after the procedure if necessary to minimize inflammation (ensure that cold compresses are not in direct contact with the skin and insertion points).
- Take acetaminophen for pain, if needed.
- Make-up can be gently applied after 24 hours.
- Sleep on your back, head elevated with pillows for 3 to 5 nights to avoid swelling and maximize the results of your facelift.
- Avoid rubbing your face vigorously when washing, shaving and drying for 5 days. Don't make excessive movements with your face or neck for 2 weeks.
- Protect yourself from direct sunlight and UV rays for 2 weeks, as this could alter the results of the facial thread treatment.
- Abstain from high-impact sports (such as running) for 2 weeks.
- Stay away from saunas for 3 weeks after your treatment, and avoid all dental surgery for 3 weeks.
