The HIFU procedure at our clinic begins with a thorough consultation to assess your medical history and determine the suitability of the treatment. We also carefully examine your skin and define its phototype. The actual treatment begins with skin cleansing, followed by the application of a special gel to facilitate ultrasound transmission. The practitioner then uses the HIFU device, precisely adjusting the ultrasound depth for optimal results and effective stimulation of the dermis. Although the treatment is generally painless, slight sensitivity may be felt in certain areas. After the session, any gel residue is washed away, and a soothing cream can be applied to maximize comfort.
HIFU can be offered to both men and women, and can be performed on all skin types, regardless of color, light or dark. What's more, it can be performed in any season, and sun exposure is not a problem either before or after the treatment. HIFU is not a treatment that makes wrinkles disappear, like injections of fillers or neuromodulators (Botox), but it does prevent their appearance.
