Hyaluronic acid injections vs. botulinum toxin: what is the difference?

Hyaluronic acid and botulinum toxin are two injectable treatments commonly used in aesthetic medicine, but they serve very different purposes. The difference between botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid lies mainly in how they work and the types of wrinkles or volume loss they treat.

Hyaluronic acid injections mainly act as fillers.
